Jo Lay - Owner

Trained in Graphics and Textile Design and with more than two decades of teaching under her belt, Jo’s role within Heather and Lay is very much as an enabler, problem solver, supporter and all-rounder. Her “day job” is as an artist and she is a member of several local art organisations, exhibiting locally and further afield. However, you’ll often find her in the office, using her knowledge and experience to help with marketing, sponsorship, social media, recruitment and finance. A Jo-of-all-trades, she can turn her hand to pretty much anything, alongside being the mother of two teenagers; so life is always full and very busy. When she’s not working for Heather and Lay, you’ll find her in her studio, drawing in and around Falmouth and spending time with her horses and on the family boat. Jo loves spending time with family and friends, on the water, horse riding, practising yoga and hitting the road with her friends at Hayle Runners.
